GreenHeritage Pedagogical Framework
About the GreenHeritage Pedagogical Framework
The GreenHeritage Pedagogical Framework is a comprehensive educational publication that explores the role of cultural and natural heritage in fostering sustainable development, community engagement, and value-based learning among primary and secondary school students. Designed for learners aged 13–18, the framework integrates theoretical foundations of sustainable development with innovative pedagogical approaches, including regenerative design, sustainable tourism, digital technologies, and participatory methods. Grounded in an extensive review of existing literature and educational models, the framework proposes an interdisciplinary and practice-oriented approach that supports teachers and educators in introducing heritage as a dynamic resource for learning, critical thinking, and active citizenship. By combining scientific research, local community participation, and modern educational tools, the GreenHeritage Framework positions education as a key driver in shaping skills, values, and competencies necessary to address complex societal challenges of the 21st century.
