Maker Camp is responsible for designing and developing interactive gaming environments aligned with the project’s educational and cultural themes. The institution will contribute its expertise in game-based learning to create immersive Minecraft experiences that foster curiosity, cultural understanding, and active participation among young users

Brief Biography:
Marco Vigelini is a digital education expert and CEO of Maker Camp S.r.l. Società Benefit, with over a decade of experience designing and leading educational projects at the intersection of gaming, cultural heritage, and innovation. With a degree in Computer Engineering and certifications as Global Minecraft Mentor and Minecraft Certified Trainer, he is internationally recognized for using Minecraft, Roblox, and Fortnite as tools for game-based learning and digital storytelling.
His key interests include gamification for environmental and civic education, inclusion in esports for schools, and virtual reconstructions of cultural sites. Marco has led award-winning national and international projects such as "Raffaello in Minecraft," "FelliniCraft," and the Longobards UNESCO contest, reaching thousands of students. He has presented his work at major conferences including SXSW (USA), BETT Show (UK), and Minefaire (USA).
Responsibilities within the Project
Within GreenHeritage, Marco is involved in WP4 (Capacity Building), where he contributes to the training of cultural operators and educators on the use of digital tools for environmental education. He also develops Minecraft-based educational experiences that translate the values of sustainability and heritage preservation into engaging, immersive environments for young learners.
Patrizia Rosato
Brief Biography:
Patrizia Rosato is a sociologist and certified professional counselor with extensive experience in integrating digital tools and emotional education into primary school learning. She specializes in student wellbeing, digital education, and inclusive teaching methodologies. As an educator and trainer, she has led numerous STEM and creative computing workshops using Minecraft Education Edition and other technologies across Italian schools.
Her key areas of interest include digital citizenship, emotional literacy, and the application of game-based learning to foster social and cognitive skills in children and adolescents. Patrizia has played a pivotal role in national programs like “Educare,” “Amici nella Rete,” and digital literacy projects under Italy’s National Digital School Plan (PNSD). Her approach blends technological fluency with socio-emotional support, providing both students and teachers with engaging, inclusive learning experiences.
Responsibilities within the Project
Within the GreenHeritage project, Patrizia is a member of the WP4 (Capacity Building) team. Her main responsibilities include co-designing and delivering training for educators and facilitators, as well as supporting the pedagogical framing of Minecraft-based game experiences. Her contribution ensures that the project outcomes are not only technologically innovative but also socially meaningful, emphasizing emotional development, collaboration, and accessibility for young learners.
Chiara Romano
Brief Biography:
Chiara Romano is a digital education facilitator and media literacy expert with over a decade of experience designing and delivering learning pathways that combine creativity, digital storytelling, and inclusive pedagogy. She collaborates with Maker Camp as a project consultant and trainer, where she develops game-based learning modules using Minecraft Education Edition, MakeCode, and immersive media for primary and secondary school students.
Her field of expertise includes STEAM education, UX design, digital citizenship, and 21st-century skills development. Chiara has worked with a wide range of institutions—schools, museums, and NGOs—on national programs such as EDUCARE, PON STEM, and initiatives supported by the Italian Ministry of Education. She has also served as a digital skills trainer for the European "Vivere Digitale" program in partnership with Facebook and Freeformers.

Within the GreenHeritage project, Chiara plays a pivotal role in WP4 (Capacity Building), supporting the co-design of training activities and contributing to the development of Minecraft-based educational scenarios. Mark Asi
Brief Biography:
John Mark Gonzales Asi is a 3D developer and digital artist with a strong focus on immersive educational experiences using Minecraft. A graduate in Computer Science, he specializes in game development, 3D modeling, asset creation, and level design. He has developed interactive maps and educational content for Roblox, Fortnite, and Minecraft, with projects including Carpe Diem – Magna Graecia with Horace and Longobardi in Minecraft.
Mark brings a unique blend of technical and artistic expertise, with advanced skills in texturing, scripting, and pixel art, as well as proficiency in tools like Blockbench, Photoshop, Unreal Engine, and Clip Studio Paint.

Within the GreenHeritage project, Mark contributes to WP4 (Capacity Building), where he is responsible for developing high-quality Minecraft-based environments that communicate key heritage and sustainability messages. His tasks include 3D modeling, environmental design, and the implementation of interactive elements that enhance narrative engagement and user experience. His work ensures the digital experiences are both visually compelling and pedagogically effective for young audiences
Omar Agoub
Brief Biography:
Omar Agoub is a senior game developer and project manager with over 13 years of experience in leading creative teams in the development of immersive digital environments. With a strong background in game design, gameplay programming, and live operations, Omar has collaborated with international studios such as Gamefam, Sonar Studios, and Melon Dev, delivering metaverse experiences for major brands including Chipotle and YouTube creators. He currently serves as Roblox Development Manager at Maker Camp.
Responsibilities within the Project
In the GreenHeritage project, Omar acts as Project Manager for the Minecraft map development within Work Package 4 (Capacity Building). He coordinates the creative and technical production teams, ensuring that the digital experiences built in Minecraft align with the project’s goals of environmental awareness and cultural heritage education. His tasks include workflow supervision, asset integration, quality assurance, and delivering user-friendly and pedagogically rich gaming environments.
Omar’s leadership guarantees the consistency, quality, and innovation of the Minecraft experiences, making them effective tools for engaging young learners in sustainability and digital storytelling. His expertise ensures that each experience is both technically solid and emotionally resonant.
