The Academy of Applied Studies Polytechnic was established in 2019 by the merger of several prominent higher education institutions in Serbia, with a tradition of applied studies in technical and artistic fields. It continues the legacy of its founding institutions by offering modern, practice-oriented education tailored to the needs of the labor market. With schools in Belgrade, Pozarevac and Valjeva, the Academy provides students with opportunities for hands-on learning, collaboration with industry partners, and participation in international exchange programs.
Institution’s Role in the GH Project
The Academy of Applied Studies Polytechnic leads promotional activities within the GH Project, including the creation of communication strategies, visual identities, and multimedia content. The institution contributes through its expertise in cultural heritage, sustainable tourism, and creative industries.

Brief Biography:
Head of the International office, with extensive experience in both KA1 and KA2 Erasmus projects, both as a coordinator and a partner. Obtained PhD in molecular biology at Faculty for Natural Sciences, University of Ulm, Germany. Postdoctoral fellowship at Icahn School of Medicine Mount Sinai, NYC, USA. Member of Serbian Council of the Higher Education. As a researcher, she published large number of high impact scientific papers, with more than 1000 citations. She was involved in several scientific and innovation projects, both national and international. Prior the engagements in the ATSBB, prof. dr Marinkovic obtained a significant experience in management of different educational, research projects and overall school organization.

Brief Biography:
Predrag A. Maksic, PhD is a Professor of Applied Studies at the Academy of Applied Studies Politehnika, Department of Design. He holds a PhD in Art and Media Theory, a Master's in Interior Design from Washington State University, and a Bachelor's in Interior Architecture. His work spans theory of form, sustainable design, and applied arts. Maksic has authored numerous academic papers and participated in key conferences and exhibitions. He is an award-winning interior designer, recognized for projects in Serbia and abroad, and actively contributes to educational, artistic, and scientific events and publications.
Responsibilities within the Project:
Dr Predrag A. Maksic is responsible for dissemination and design coordination, including the development of promotional strategies and materials.
Brief Biography:
Professor of applied studies, President of Academy Polytechnic. She graduated and received PhD in Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, University in Belgrade in the field of Materials. She worked as researcher at Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, Belgrade and Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, Belgrade (Department of Materials). The special focus of her research is on manufacture, characterization, micromechanical analysis of advanced composite materials. She has published, as author/co-author more than 150 scientific publications and participated in several international and domestic projects and patents.

Project management.
Experienced Marketing Manager with expertise in developing and implementing successful marketing strategies. Specialized in project management, fairs, sales enhancement and business development. Knowledge for analytical thinking, creating innovative solutions, and leading teams to achieve defined goals. Skilled in management, analysis, and brand development, with a strong focus on revenue growth and sustainable development.
Responsibilities within the Project:
In the GH project, I am involved in realization of Communication and Dissemination plan.
Brief Biography:
Boško Medaković is Master's graduate in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science with nearly three years of experience at the Academy of Applied Studies Polytechnic, where I have worked as an IT Support and Network Engineer. My professional focus includes IT support, network engineering, and website management, with particular expertise in maintaining IT infrastructure, managing user accounts, and optimizing web platforms. I hold CISCO training certifications, which have significantly strengthened my competencies in network engineering. My key research interests lie in network optimization, IT system performance, and web technologies. Throughout my career, I have participated in several international projects through the Academy, gaining practical experience in IT infrastructure and web development.
Responsibilities within the Project:
IT Support, Website Maintenance, and Data Entry.
Brief Biography:
Tatjana Sekulic is a PhD in Biology from the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Biology, and is a professor at the Academy of technical applied studies Polytechnic. She has published high impact scientific papers in the fields of biology, ecology and environmental sciences, participated in international and national projects, including the EU's IPA fund program Germosave, and contributed to 17 Green Pro Environmental Engineering Agency projects. She's also an active member of the Serbian Biological Society.

Project Manager part of the WP3 and WP4 Teams. Budget category: Managers, administratives, officers.
