In December 2025, Wazo Coop joined a Green Heritage Study Visit in Viminacium, Serbia, hosted by the Institute of Archaeology, focusing on integrating archaeological heritage into sustainable education models. The visit highlighted heritage sites as drivers of local development, community participation, and intergenerational learning, while strengthening partnerships within the Green Heritage network.
Following, the Wazo Coop had a Study Visit to the San Simon archaeological site in Izola, Slovenia, where they were hosted by the University of Primorska. The visit explored links between archaeological heritage, landscape, and sustainability, highlighting heritage-based education and community engagement as drivers of sustainable development and supporting knowledge exchange among project partners.
